Earlier this morning, the Volta Regional Minister, on behalf of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama, participated in the Annual Convention and 20th Anniversary Celebration of the Peaceful Healing Church, held under the theme: “Nathaniel answered him, can anything good come out of Nazareth? Philip replied, come and see” (John 1:47).

The Minister highlighted the relevance of the church’s journey over the past two decades, noting that the values and impact of the Peaceful Healing Church reflect the broader vision of Peaceful Healing of Ghana, which aligns with the Resetting Ghana Agenda of His Excellency John Dramani Mahama. He encouraged faith-based institutions to continue playing their role in national renewal, unity, and moral leadership.

The Volta Regional Minister was accompanied by the Member of Parliament for Afadjato South, Hon. Manfred Tawiah; the District Chief Executive for Afadjato South, Hon. Manfred Tawiah; the District Chief Executive for South Dayi, Hon. Courage Kokroko; and other government officials. In support of the church’s ongoing chapel construction, a donation of 200 bags of cement and an amount of GHS 30,000.00 was presented.

In his address, the Minister commended the leadership of the church, led by Bishop Sylvester Akpemada Borkumah, the General Overseer, and His Eminence Prophet Timothy Kwadzo Borkumah, the Founder, for their sustained contribution to peace, social cohesion, and stability within the region and the country at large.

The Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council congratulates the Peaceful Healing Church on its 20th anniversary and commends its continued commitment to national development and community well-being.
