The Volta Regional Minister received a delegation from Tennessee State University’s Smart Innovation Technology Centre, led by Mr. Delali Kotoka. The team included Dr. Robert Hassell, Senior Executive Director for Immersive Technology, and Marcus Horton, Academic Technology Coach.

Discussions focused on collaboration in AI and machine learning education, with emphasis on a train-the-trainer model. The Minister went with the team to visit GIFEC to explore local tech initiatives.

Both sides agreed to draft a proposal to position the region to benefit from the Centre’s programmes.
