Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has emphasized that transport is central to Ghana’s economic transformation, food security, and job creation. Speaking at the 2025 Ministry of Transports Mid-Year Strategic Review in Ho, he welcomed ongoing investments in the Eastern Corridor roads, ferry services on the Volta Lake, and the expansion of Ho Airport, describing them as lifelines for communities.

Transport Minister, Hon. Joseph Bukari Nikpe, added that government interventions are aimed at modernizing the sector and making services more accessible and affordable.
