World Vision Ghana Calls on Volta Regional Minister
The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, today received a delegation from World Vision Ghana led by Mr. Eric Opoku Agyarko, at the Regional Coordinating Council.
World Vision Ghana, a child-focused organisation, is committed to ensuring that children enjoy life in all its fullness. Their interventions span education, health, nutrition, skills development, and livelihood improvement. The organisation has also been running its Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) programme since 1985, with a current 7-year plan targeting about 23 districts across Ghana, including Agotime Ziope District in the Volta Region.
Hon. James Gunu warmly welcomed them to the RCC and commended their efforts, particularly in improving the lives of children and communities. He further expressed the Region’s readiness to collaborate with World Vision Ghana to scale up development interventions.
