The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has met with the District Road Improvement Programme (DRIP) Coordinators in the Region, led by the Regional Coordinator, Mr. Wogbe Elliot, when they paid a courtesy call on him at the Regional Coordinating Council.

Chief Director of VRCC, Mr. Augustus Awity, advised the coordinators to respect due process and procedures to ensure the longevity of their machines and urged them to remain humble in serving the people.

Hon. Gunu cautioned that the effectiveness of DRIP reflects directly on the performance of the Mahama government, stressing that any failure could undermine public confidence. He therefore urged the coordinators to go above and beyond in their work, demonstrating diligence, dedication, and commitment to the people.
