H.E. the Togolese Ambassador to Ghana, Col. Awoki Panassa, who is on a 2-Day Visit to the Volta Region, has paid a courtesy call on the Hon. Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa at the office, Ho.

Mr. Panassa was in the Region to visit some business establishments at the invitation of the President, Association of Ghana Industries, Volta, Eastern and Oti Regions Branch, Mr. Dela Gadzanku.

whiles with the Hon. Regional Minister,  Col. Panassa stated he had been in Ghana since 2020 to promote economic and social co-operation between the two countries.

He acknowledged the relationship that exists between his country and the Volta Region, whiles indicating how impressed he was with what he had seen during his visit to a number of business establishments.

He also acknowledged the commonalities his country and the Volta Region share which are the ground for economic and social co-operation.

Dr. Letsa on his part welcomed H.E. the Ambassador to the Region and acknowledged that the Region shares a boundary with Togo.

He also acknowledged that there were a lot of areas for collaboration between Togo and the Volta Region. Hence, there was the need to work towards that collaboration.

Dr. Letsa requested that H.E. the Ambassador use his good office to link up the private sector in the Region with the private sector of his country.

Furthermore, he seized the opportunity to inform H.E. the Ambassador about the 5th Volta Trade and Investment Fair slated for November 15-28, 2021 at the Ho Sports Stadium. He therefore made a request that he facilitate the participation of Togolese businesses in the fair.
