The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has commissioned a 3,000-watt (3kW) solar-powered mechanised borehole project at Agblonu in the Akatsi North District as part of activities marking his birthday.
The facility, which includes a 10,000-litre overhead storage tank, is expected to provide reliable access to potable water for residents of the community.
The commissioning was attended by the District Chief Executive for Akatsi North, constituency executives and residents of Agblonu, who gathered to support and celebrate the Minister’s development efforts.
The project forms part of ongoing interventions aimed at improving access to potable water and essential social amenities across communities in the Volta Region.
