Hon. James Gunu Joins President Mahama To Commission Volta Regional Command of the National Signals Bureau
Yesterday, the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu joined the President of the Republic, H. E. John Dramani Mahama to commission the Volta Regional Command of the National Signals Bureau. This is a major step forward for our region and for Ghana’s broader security agenda.
As His Excellency explained, a 24 hour economy relies on steady security, strong surveillance and modern intelligence systems. This new facility boosts our capacity for realtime monitoring, cybersecurity protection, border surveillance and early warning responses that safeguard businesses and investments across the region.
We are also proud to note that the National Signals Bureau has secured land in Hohoe for the construction of the National Signals Bureau Training School. This school will train all officers of the Bureau and will welcome intelligence and security personnel from outside Ghana as well.
This is another milestone for the Volta Region and a sign of the confidence placed in our people. We remain committed to supporting all initiatives that strengthen safety, drive growth and expand opportunity for our communities.
