The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, on Saturday, July 26, 2025, joined family, friends, and sympathizers at the E.P. Church, Elorm Parish in Ho-Bankoe, to pay his respects to the late Mrs. Bernice Yawa Dornya Akorli.

The late Mrs. Akorli, a respected educationist and devoted Christian, was the beloved wife of Hon. John Nelson Kwasi Akorli, a former Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) of Ho Central.

Mrs. Akorli was a woman of virtue who served her community and faith with humility and grace, leaving behind a legacy worth emulating.
