The Ecumenical Council, led by Rev. Seth K. Mawutor, paid a courtesy call on Hon. James Gunu, Volta Regional Minister, to congratulate him on his appointment and pledge their support. Representing 11 church bodies, the Council assured the Minister of their readiness to collaborate for the Region’s development.

Hon. Gunu thanked them for their prayers and commitment to national progress. He emphasized the vital role of religious leaders in governance and highlighted the government’s focus on Local Government, Chieftaincy, and Religious Affairs as key to nation-building.

The visit reinforced the strong partnership between the church and government in advancing development in the Volta Region.
