The leadership of Cooperative Branch 2 in the Volta Region, led by Chairman Mr. Gabriel Fiankor, has paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu. The delegation visited to congratulate the Minister on his appointment and to discuss key concerns affecting their operations as a transport union.

During the meeting, Mr. Fiankor and his team outlined some challenges faced by the Union and appealed for the Minister’s intervention to enhance the transport sector in the Region.

Hon. Gunu expressed his gratitude for the visit and the warm gesture of congratulations. He acknowledged the vital role transport Unions play in regional development and assured the delegation of his commitment to collaborating with them to address some of their concerns.

The visit reinforced the importance of strong partnerships between the government and transport stakeholders to improve road infrastructure and transport services in the Volta Region.
