The AgriLink Joint Steering Committee and National Representation have paid a courtesy visit to the Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu to discuss ongoing and future collaborations in the Region.

During the meeting, Mamaga Hoeflewo II congratulated the Honorable Minister and emphasized the importance of the partnership with the Ministry. She highlighted the ongoing 9.1-meter road project from Penyi to Ehi as part of AgriLink’s initiatives.

AgriLink has successfully executed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) and is in the process of setting up a Joint Steering Committee to oversee its projects. The implementation partner, Cyrus Acres, is set to execute key aspects of the AgriLink project, which focuses on linking farmers to market opportunities. However, the main agreement and the formal establishment of the steering committee remain outstanding.

The Volta Regional Minister assured the delegation that his team, already familiar with the program, will deliberate on the necessary steps to ensure smooth execution of the project.
