The Hon. Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa welcomed a delegation of the Congress of Paramount Chiefs and Queens of Ho West District to his office at the Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council, Ho.

The delegation’s mission was to welcome Dr. Letsa back to the Region as the Hon. Regional Minister and to express appreciation to H.E. the President of the Republic for the reappointment of Dr. Letsa.

The delegation stated that they took notice of the development which had occurred in the Ho West District during the Hon. Regional Minister’s first term of office. In this regard, they were happy about his reappointment.

During interaction with the Hon. Regional Minister, the President of the Congress, Osie Adza Tekpor VII expressed the hope that more could be achieved in the next four years.  He was therefore optimistic that outstanding projects would be completed.

The delegation requested that the Hon. Regional Minister make arrangements for them to pay a courtesy call on H.E. the President of the Republic as they assured the Hon. Regional Minister of the support of the Chiefs and Queens of the district in the performance of his duties.

The Hon. Regional Minister on his part expressed his appreciation to the delegation for the visit and the support pledged.

He, in turn, assured the delegation of the support of the Coordinating Council and the Ho West District Assembly. He entreated them to feel free to call on him and offer suggestions as well as pieces of advice to help move the development of the Region further.

Finally, the Hon. Regional Minister assured them that he would make the necessary arrangements for them to pay a call on the H.E. the President of the Republic.
