The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, this afternoon chaired a public education forum organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) at Ho Technical University. The forum focused on promoting investor education and protecting the public from fraudulent investment schemes.

In his opening remarks, Hon. Gunu stressed the importance of financial literacy in empowering citizens to make safe and informed investment decisions.

SEC officials delivered presentations on personal finance, investment products, and how to detect and avoid scams. The event also featured spoken word, drama, and musical performances to enhance public engagement.

The Director-General of the SEC, Dr. James Klutse Avedzi, also addressed the gathering. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session.
