The Community-lead of Zipline Ghana, Mr. Kusi Amoatin led a team to pay a courtesy call on the Hon. Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa.
Mr. Amoatin used the visit to inform Dr. Letsa about a station which Zipline Ghana had constructed in Anum in the Eastern Region to cater for the delivery of medical supplies to hard-to-reach areas in the Volta Region and part of the Eastern Region by the use of specialized drones.
He indicated that for a start, the company’s operation would cover fourteen out of the eighteen Municipalities and Districts of the Volta Region.
Dr. Letsa welcomed the team and expressed his joy about the establishment of the station which would be beneficial to the Region.
The Hon. Regional Minister expressed his joy on hearing that the first delivery would be made on 29th November, 2021 and the station commissioned later by H.E. the Vice President of the Republic, Alhaji Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia.
Finally, Dr. Letsa expressed interest in witnessing the first delivery.
