NLA Team Pays Courtesy Call on Volta Regional Minister
A delegation from the National Lottery Authority (NLA), led by Mr. Roland Kofi Mbui, Acting Director of Special Duties, paid a working visit to the Volta Regional Coordinating Council. The visit formed part of efforts to engage with staff, inspect facilities, and explore ways to support the reset agenda of the Region.
The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, expressed appreciation to NLA for their generous donation of ₵100,000 towards victims of the recent tidal waves, describing it as a timely intervention that brought relief to many affected families.
Mr. Mbui, on his part, highlighted challenges the Authority faces with encroachment on some of its lands and called for the cooperation of the VRCC in addressing the matter when necessary. He reaffirmed that the NLA, as a national institution, remains committed to supporting national and local development through its Good Causes Foundation, the Authority’s flagship corporate social responsibility programme.
