Minister for Works, Housing and Water Resources, Hon. Kenneth Adjel, visited Agavedzi to engage residents ahead of the commencement of Phase II of the Coastal Protection Project.

He was joined by Volta Regional Minister Hon. James Gunu, who reassured the community that government’s promises are being fulfilled and will continue to the letter.

The Minister announced that Messrs Amandi Holding Limited will construct 8 km of sea defense and key facilities including a fish market and cold store.

The visit marks a critical step in mobilizing local support before sod-cutting and full construction begin.
