Ghana Medical Association (Volta Chapter) Pledges Support to Volta Regional Minister
The Volta Chapter of the Ghana Medical Association (GMA), led by Dr. Kwaku Appiagyei, paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister to congratulate him and introduce their leadership. They expressed their willingness to support the Minister’s developmental agenda and shared details of their “Planting for Health” initiative, which spans 10 acres around Adaklu—aligning with the President’s call for all citizens to engage in agriculture. The delegation also mentioned their quarterly tourism programs aimed at promoting mental health and extended an invitation to their Annual Awards Night on 7th June. The Minister commended their initiatives and expressed optimism about collaborating with them to enhance healthcare delivery in the Region. The GMA also pledged GH₵30,000 to support the “Water for All” project.
The pledge was redeemed a few days after.
