The Regional Director of the Department of Parks and Gardens has interacted with a cross-section of patrons on the functions of the Department at the ongoing 6^th Volta Trade and Investment Fair.

The Regional Director with the assistance of the Head Gardener, Mr. John Bedzi briefed the gathering on the functions and services rendered by the Department with key amongst them being; the development and promotion of effective landscape beautification in cities, towns, and homes; maintenance and sustaining of all landscape areas such as vegetables, fruit trees, and ornamental plants; educate the public on the importance of parks and gardens among others.

The regional director also informed the patrons on renting of their parks for public events such as weddings and funerals.
