The General Secretary of the Assemblies of God, Ghana; Rev. Dr. Kwame Bansah; who is on a working visit to the Volta Region has paid a courtesy visit on the Hon. Volta Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa in his office. 

He was accompanied by the Regional Superintendent of the church, Rev. Sakyi and other officers of the church.

Rev. Dr. Bansah conveyed to the Hon. Regional Minister the special greetings of the General Superintendent of the church, Rev. Prof. Paul Frimpong-Manso. He also conveyed the solidarity of the General Superintendent with the good people of the Region as the Region denounces and repudiates the activities of the secessionist groups.

He stated that God would intervene in order that the peace, security, as well as the safety of which the Region was noted for would not be disrupted.

The Hon. Regional Minister expressed his happiness about the visit and the solidarity of the church. He therefore assured the church of government’s commitment towards ensuring the groups were dealt with appropriately to safeguard the safety, security and peace of the region and the country. 

He expressed gratitude to Rev. Dr. Bansah and his retinue for their prayers for him and the Region.
