Volta Regional Minister Visits Medical Outreach Team in Akatsi North
The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has paid a working visit to the medical outreach team from USA-

at the Akatsi North District Health Directorate, as part of efforts to monitor and support health service delivery in the region.
The outreach exercise, which began today, aims to bring essential medical care to residents in underserved communities. The team, led by Dr. Arthur Charis, expressed their excitement and commitment to serving the people, noting the warm reception and cooperation from the local community.
Hon. Gunu commended the team for their dedication and sacrifice in extending healthcare to remote areas. He emphasized the government’s commitment to improving access to quality healthcare across all districts and encouraged the public to take advantage of the outreach to seek medical attention.
The Minister further reaffirmed his office’s continued collaboration with the Ghana Health Service and other partners to strengthen health systems and ensure equitable health services throughout the Volta Region.
