The Chief Executive Officer of Ziavi Tutu Coffee, Mr. Benjamin Horlali Kofi Atidjah, has led a delegation to outline the company’s strategies, operations, challenges, and expectations to the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu.

Mr. Atidjah emphasized the immense potential of coffee production in Ghana, especially in the Volta Region, and called for government and stakeholder support to expand the industry.

In response, Hon. James Gunu commended Ziavi Tutu Coffee for its innovation and commitment to developing the local coffee value chain. He highlighted that “the coffee we have in Volta is unique and needs to be expanded and exported.” The Minister stressed the importance of investing in technology to boost production and improve the livelihoods of farmers.

Hon. Gunu also encouraged the company to take advantage of government initiatives such as the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme (NEIP), which supports innovators and entrepreneurs across the country. He assured that he would engage the Ghana Free Zones Authority to help Ziavi Tutu Coffee explore export market opportunities.

The Minister reaffirmed that the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) stands ready to support and facilitate such transformative initiatives that align with the region’s economic growth agenda.
