The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. He highlighted that the abolition of betting tax by the Mahama-led government was a deliberate step to remove barriers to sports growth and participation. The Minister reiterated government’s commitment to investing in sports infrastructure and youth development, ensuring that young people across the region and Ghana can excel both on and off the field. He also made a cash donation in support of the initiative.

Representing the Chief of Staff, Hon. Julius Debrah, the former Minister of Youth and Sports, Hon. Elvis Afriyie Ankrah, commended the organisers for creating a platform that instils discipline, teamwork, and character among the youth.
