The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has attended the burial service of the late Moses Yao Magbe, father of Mr. Emmanuel Magbe, the Minister’s official photographer.

The solemn ceremony, held at the St. Stephen’s Catholic Church in Kpetoe, brought together family, friends, sympathizers, and dignitaries from across the region to pay their last respects to the late Mr. Magbe, who passed at the age of 66.

Hon. James Gunu was accompanied by Volta Regional Representative on the Council of State, H.E. Gabriel Tanko Kwamigah-Atokple; the Member of Parliament for the Agotime-Ziope Constituency, Hon. Charles Akwasi Agbeve; the Municipal Chief Executive for Ho, Hon. Stephen Adom; the District Chief Executive for Agotime-Ziope, Hon. Alfred Klu Odikro; the Municipal Chief Executive for Kpando, Hon. Killian Donkor; the District Chief Executive for Adaklu, Hon. Jerry Ameko; as well as Mawunyo Agbe, Dean of all Presiding Members.

The late Moses Yao Magbe, also known as Agbozumega, is remembered by family and community members as a humble and respected man whose life positively impacted many.

The final rites were marked by prayers, tributes, and a call on all present to live meaningful lives in service to others.
