The Volta Regional Coordinating Council organised a 2-Day Training Workshop for Radio Operators from the Twenty-five (25) Municipal and District Assemblies in the Volta Region.

Participants were taken through topics such as Presentation on Voice Procedure; Local Government Service: Performance Management System; and Communication Centre. The Training workshop was interactive and practical where participants were made to make presentations.

The workshop was coordinated and facilitated by Mr Cyril Xatse the Human Resource Manager of the Coordinating Council and Mr Michael Tagoe, The Head of Ops Room respectively.

Addressing the Participants at the opening ceremony, the Hon. Deputy Volta Regional Minister, Mr Maxwell Qophy Blagodzi who represented the Hon. Volta Regional Minister, Dr Archibald Yao Letsa welcomed participants to the workshop and underscored the vital role they played at the various Assemblies. He advised participants to urgently get wireless messages that come through them to the appropriate authorities at the Assemblies in the time since such messages require urgent attention. He then wished the participants a fruitful workshop.

Also, in attendance was the Chief Director of the Coordinating Council, Mr Felix B. Chaahaah.

The workshop which began on Thursday, 21st June 2018 ended on Friday, 22nd June 2018. The participants were presented with certificates.
