The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, hosted a breakfast meeting with a Swiss delegation led by Mr. Issaka Sidi, representing ISSPEG Ghana Ltd and Swiss Bio Shield from Switzerland. The visit formed part of ongoing efforts to attract strategic healthcare investments to the region.

ISSPEG Ghana Ltd, in partnership with Swiss Bio Shield, specializes in the supply of hospital equipment and innovative, bio-based disinfectant solutions designed to improve healthcare quality and safety. The delegation expressed strong interest in investing in the Volta Region, which they described as a strategic entry point with high potential for impact.

Also present at the meeting were key players in the region’s health sector, including the Volta Regional Health Director, the CEO of the Ho Teaching Hospital, and the Regional Director of the National Health Insurance Authority. These officials contributed to the discussions by raising relevant questions and offering suggestions to ensure alignment with the region’s healthcare priorities.

The meeting ended on a positive note, with both parties expressing optimism about future collaboration aimed at enhancing health infrastructure and service delivery in the Volta Region.
