A colorful Grand Durbar was held in Wlitey-Sakpakukope, one of the hometowns of Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, for the purification rites of royal stools of Torgbui Sakpaku IX and Torgbui Guadzi III.
The event attracted dignitaries including Hon. James Gunu and Hon Alex Segbefia Chief of Staff, Office of the Vice President.
Torgbega Dorglo Anumah VI led the ceremony, which featured traditional performances and speeches on peace and leadership.
A citation was presented to Hon. Gunu in recognition of his developmental achievements as former DCE for Akatsi North.
The event emphasized the role of tradition in fostering unity and national progress.
