The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, today received the family of the late former Deputy Majority Leader, Hon. Alfred Agbesi, who officially informed him of his passing and shared funeral arrangements scheduled for October 24–25, 2025.

Welcoming the delegation with the Minister were the NDC Regional Chairman, Comrade Mawutor Agbavitor; Hon. Kofi Attor, Special Advisor to the Speaker of Parliament; Mr. Augustus Awity, Chief Director of the VRCC; and other party executives.

Hon. Gunu, on behalf of the Volta Region, extended heartfelt condolences to the bereaved family and assured them of the region’s support during the funeral rites.
