The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, today received the new leadership of the Volta Chapter of the Ghana Journalists Association (GJA), led by Chairman Mr. Harrison Kofi Belley.

The delegation commended the Minister for his leadership and continuous support for the Association. Hon. Gunu, in turn, acknowledged the important role of the GJA in shaping the development agenda of both the Region and the nation, and called on all stakeholders to support their work.

He pledged 100 bags of cement towards Phase 2 of the GJA building project and further promised to lead the fundraising efforts for its completion. The Minister also reiterated his three-point agenda and encouraged the Association to continue partnering with government in advancing development in the Volta Region.
