Volta Corporate Fun Club Pays Courtesy Call on Regional Minister.
The Volta Corporate Fun Club, led by its President, Mr. Leno Emmanuel Mensah, has paid a courtesy call on the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, to familiarise themselves with him and explore areas of collaboration.
The delegation explained that the Club, which operates under the motto “Fun for Development,” promotes healthy living through regular exercise and corporate networking. Members of the Club, drawn from diverse professions and disciplines, exercise every Saturday at the 66 Artillery Barracks and also support one another professionally and socially.
The Club expressed interest in partnering with the Volta Regional Coordinating Council (VRCC) as development partners and making their professional expertise available to support initiatives in the region.
In his response, Hon. James Gunu welcomed the initiative and noted that partnerships with corporate entities are critical to development. He explained that such collaborations have contributed significantly to the successes chalked during his first year in office and assured the Club of his readiness to work with them for the development of the Volta Region.
