Akatsi North, the home district of the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has welcomed a new District Chief Executive (DCE). Hon. Bless Kojo Katamani was unanimously endorsed as the fourth DCE of the district following a swearing-in ceremony for government appointees.

The voting process, which took place after the swearing-in, saw Hon. Katamani receiving full support from the 18 assembly members. The Regional Minister emphasized that this endorsement was not just for the president’s nominee but also a commitment to the “reset agenda,” aimed at advancing the progress of Akatsi North and contributing to national development.

With his unanimous endorsement, Hon. Katamani now assumes the responsibility of steering the district towards growth and transformation in line with government policies.
