Fulfilling an NDC 2024 Campaign Promise, Hliha Receives Cement Donation
The Hliha community in the Ho Municipality has received 100 bags of cement in fulfillment of an NDC 2024 campaign promise to support the construction of its community center.
Presenting the donation, the Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, thanked the chiefs and people of Hliha for their support and highlighted key government initiatives, including the National Apprenticeship Programme, which offers the youth free skills training, alongside other empowerment programmes.
He was accompanied by the Volta Regional Chairman of the NDC, Hon. Mawutor Agbavitor, the Vice Chairman of the NDC, hon. Egypt Kobla Kudoto, the Acting Regional Secretary,hon. Bright Kwashie Ege, the Volta Regional DRIP Coordinator and Deputy Organiser, hon. Wogbe Elliot, the Ho Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Stephen Adom, and other party executives.
The delegation was received by chiefs, the Assembly Member, Hon. Frank Yao Awuma, and residents of Hliha. The Regent of Ho-Hliha, Ametsitsie Moses Kley, expressed appreciation on behalf of the community, while the NDC leadership reaffirmed its commitment to the completion of the community center project.
