The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, together with Rt. Hon. Bernard Ahiafor, First Deputy Speaker of Parliament and MP for Akatsi South; Hon. Wisdom Bondzie Seade, Municipal Chief Executive for Keta; and Hon. Bless Kodjo Katamani, District Chief Executive for Akatsi North, proceeded to the enstoolment ceremony of Togbega Amegavieso Vi and Mamaga Yibor Amegavieso II.

The colourful traditional ceremony officially installed the newly enstooled Dutor and Mamaga as custodians of custom and leadership within the Avenor community. In support of the occasion, the Dep. Speaker, Minister and their delegation made a cash donation of GH¢20,000 towards the organisation of the ceremony and related community activities.

The chiefs, elders and people expressed appreciation for the gesture and the continuous collaboration between government and traditional authorities in promoting peace and development.
