The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, this afternoon chaired a public education forum organized by the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) at Ho Technical University. The forum focused on promoting investor education and protecting the public from fraudulent investment schemes.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

In his opening remarks, Hon. Gunu stressed the importance of financial literacy in empowering citizens to make safe and informed investment decisions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

SEC officials delivered presentations on personal finance, investment products, and how to detect and avoid scams. The event also featured spoken word, drama, and musical performances to enhance public engagement.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Director-General of the SEC, Dr. James Klutse Avedzi, also addressed the gathering. The event concluded with an interactive Q&A session.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
