The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu<\/strong>, has undertaken a follow-up visit<\/strong> to the Kpeve Headworks of the Ghana Water Company Limited (GWCL)<\/strong> to assess the progress of repair works on the broken pumps and other infrastructure affecting water supply to Ho and its surrounding communities<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The visit was in response to an earlier commitment<\/strong> by GWCL to complete the necessary repairs<\/strong> to restore regular water flow to affected residents. During the inspection, Hon. Gunu engaged with engineers on site and <\/strong>Ing. Francis Lamptey, the General Manager of GWCL in Ho<\/strong>, who provided updates on the ongoing interventions and additional measures being put in place to resolve the crisis.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The engineers assured the Minister that significant progress had been made, with key components of the system being repaired and tested. They expressed confidence that water supply to Ho and surrounding villages would soon be fully restored<\/strong>, mitigating the challenges faced by residents.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Hon. Gunu reiterated his commitment to ensuring that residents have reliable access to clean water<\/strong>. He emphasized the importance of accountability and timely execution<\/strong> of projects that directly impact the well-being of the people. He further assured the people of Ho and its environs that he would continue to monitor the situation closely<\/strong> and collaborate with all relevant stakeholders to find sustainable solutions.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The Minister\u2019s visit underscores the government\u2019s dedication to improving water infrastructure<\/strong> in the Volta Region and ensuring that essential services are efficiently delivered to the people.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
