{"id":2123,"date":"2021-10-21T20:00:00","date_gmt":"2021-10-21T20:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/voltaregion.gov.gh\/?p=2123"},"modified":"2022-07-12T20:12:35","modified_gmt":"2022-07-12T20:12:35","slug":"municipal-and-district-assemblies-2022-budget-hearing-held","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/voltaregion.gov.gh\/index.php\/municipal-and-district-assemblies-2022-budget-hearing-held\/","title":{"rendered":"Municipal And District Assemblies 2022 Budget Hearing Held"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>The Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council through the Regional Budget Secretariat organised a week-long 2022 Budget Hearing from Wednesday 13<sup>th<\/sup> October 2021 to Wednesday, 21st October 2021 at the Residency Conference Hall.\u00a0 Budget hearing, which is the last stage of the preparation phase, offers the public the opportunity for popular participation in fiscal and financial decision making process of the nation.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The scope of the 2022 budget hearing event had four (4) key performance areas, namely Revenue Improvement Action Planning (RIAP), Cash Planning, Fixed Assets Data management and the Activate financials. .<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Participants were drawn from the 18 Municipal and District Assemblies of the Volta Region. Eighteen (18) participants per District totalling three hundred and twenty-four (324) attended\u00a0 \u00a0the programme.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large is-style-default\"><img
