The Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council (VRCC), in collaboration with the Ho Municipal Assembly, has undertaken a clean-up exercise in Ho as part of efforts to maintain the city as the “Oxygen City.”

The exercise, led by the Regional Environmental Health Department, brought together staff of the VRCC and other stakeholders to clean the premises of the Residency and its surrounding areas.

Participants swept, cleared weeds, removed litter and tidied the environment, reinforcing the importance of maintaining clean and healthy surroundings.

The exercise also highlighted the need for collective responsibility, with stakeholders encouraged to play an active role in keeping Ho clean rather than leaving sanitation solely to municipal authorities.

The VRCC and the Ho Municipal Assembly reaffirmed their commitment to promoting improved sanitation, beautifying the regional capital and sustaining Ho’s reputation as the “Oxygen City.”
