The Volta Regional Minister, Hon. James Gunu, has welcomed plans by the Ghana Bar Association, led by its President Mrs. Efua Ghartey, to establish a Bar Centre in the region.

During a courtesy call by the national executives and members of the Volta and Oti Bar, Madam Ghartey noted that the Association is following up on discussions held last year.

Hon. Gunu expressed appreciation for the visit, stating that the project will greatly benefit the region. As land has already been secured, he urged the Association to expedite plans to enable the project, set to be the first of its kind in the country to take off soon.
