Hohoe, in the Volta Region, has been chosen to host the 2022 Commemoration of World Malaria Day slated for Monday, April 25, 2022. The event will be held on St. Francis College of Education Park in the Hohoe Municipality.

The above information was made known to the Hon. Volta Region Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa at his office, Ho when officers from the National Malaria Control Programme paid a courtesy visit to him. The Deputy Volta Regional Director of Ghana Health Service in charge of Public Health, Dr. Senanu Dzokoto accompanied the officers. The officers have been in the Volta Region as part of preparations toward the commemoration.

An invitation has been extended to Dr. Letsa which he accepted, and indicated his availability to participate in the event.
