The Coastal Development Authority has cut sod for the construction of a 40-Seater Solar Paneled Water Closet Toilet Facility for Ziope Market in the Agotime Ziope Constituency on the 16th of March 2022.

This project is being funded under the Government’s Infrastructure for Poverty Eradication Programme (IPEP). The facility is one of the needs of the constituency identified through stakeholder consultation conducted in the constituency. 

Present at the sod cutting ceremony were the Hon. District Chief Executive, Ms. Emelia Emefa Adzimah; Traditional Rulers and Traders and the Contractor.

The Hon. District Chief Executive expressed her gratitude to the Coastal Development Authority (CODA) for awarding the contract to be executed in the District and admonished the Contractor to ensure speedy completion of the project.

The Traditional Rulers could not hide their excitement about the sod cutting and indicated that the project when completed would solve the dire need for a public convenience by people who patronize the market.
