The Volta Regional Coordinating Council organised a yearly Local Government Service (LGS) Scheme of Service Training for Officers due for promotion on November 21^st and 22^nd, 2022.  The Training sought to refresh the memories of Officers on the Scheme of Service, LGS Protocols and also educate them on Interview Etiquettes. The Training formed part of the 2022 Capacity Building Plan and was executed to address gaps identified in the previous interviews.

Addressing the Training, the Acting Regional Co-ordinating Director, Mr. Prosper Afenyo, expressed the need for officers to dress and appear professional during interviews. He also expressed the need for officers to acquire the requisite skills in responding to interview questions.

On his part, the Regional Human Resource Manager, Mr. Cyril Dzinyanu Xatse, who facilitated the Training, took Officers through the Scheme of Service, Local Government Service Protocols and the various ACTS of Parliament relating to the LGS which guide Officers in the performance of their duties.   

Miss Jasmine Elorm Caygu, Human Resource Manager took her turn to conduct Officers through Interview Etiquettes. She emphasised the need to dress and appear professional at all times.

The Training was attended by 75(Seventy-five) participants; fifteen-eight (58) males and seventeen (17) females. Certificates were handed to participants at the end of the Training.
