The Regional Director of the Department of Social Welfare has visited three beneficiaries of the persons with Disabilities share of District Assemblies’ Common Fund (DACF). The Regional Director and her team visited a beneficiary each in Lobga-Alakpeti in the Afadzato South District, Kpeve in the South Dayi District, and Glidzi in the Ketu South District.

The team observed the beneficiaries needed to be assisted further with promotional and marketing strategies to broaden their clientele base and also advised District Assemblies to conduct a comprehensive needs assessment on all potential beneficiaries to ensure that, they are assisted to venture into sustainable and profitable ventures.
