On 14th September 2022, the Regional  Manager of the Department of Feeder Roads (DFR) Ing. Gregory Amissah accompanied by his key technical team inspected construction work on the bitumen surfacing of Yorkitikpo–Kpoviadzi–Trepe Road in the Central Tongu District. The inspection was done to ensure perdestrans road line markings conform to contract specifications.

 During the inspection, the Regional Manager gave  a briefing to a representative of the Contractor’s Engineer together with DFR technical Staff (i.e. technical intervention) in relation to some sections of the road which required some changes to improve safety within the towns.  The Site Engineer was directed by the Department to provide more Road Signs for both pedestrians and Traffic (vehicles) to reduce road accidents during the road marking.

M/S Reggio Company Ltd is the contractor executing the project which was awarded by the Ministry of Roads and Highways for a duration of twelve (12) calendar months. The Department of Feeder Roads is supervising the project.

The project duration is twelve (12) calendar months. With the road line marking done, and road warning signs erected, the project would be One Hundred Percent (100%) completed
