The RegionalEnvironmental Health Officer (REHO), Ms. Stella Kumedzro received National Executives of Ghana Water Sanitation and Hygiene Journalist Network (GWJN) at the office on 16th June 2022.

The visit by the Executives was to strengthen collaboration between Journalists in Water Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) and the RegionalEnvironmental Health Sanitation Unit.

REHO in her welcome remarks, congratulated the Network for coming together to support in the area of WASH and solicited the support of the Network in publicising as well as advocating for WASH activities in the Region

The GWJN Executives outlined their interest in some areas of WASH activities in the Region such as Community Led Total sanitation, and Handwashing with Soup. They affirmed their support for the office to strengthen WASH activities for the Volta region in order to attain SDGs Goal 6.
