Holding of quarterly meetings forms part of the mandate of the Regional Inter-Agency Committee on Sanitation. The Regional Environmental Health Officer is the Secretary to the committee and the Regional Environmental Health Office providing secretarial support. In 2021, the RICCS held all the four quarterly meetings to discuss and address, among other things, emerging issues on sanitation in the region.
