Following a visit by the Governing Board Members and Management of the Mawuko Girls’ SHS on Wednesday, May 26, 2021 to the Hon. Regional Minister’s office, the Hon. Regional Minister, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa, visited the school and inspected some stalled projects on Friday, June 04, 2021.

The projects inspected were as follows:

1. A 1-Storey 8-Unit Classroom Block (started in 2010)

2. A 1-Storey 300 Bed Capacity Dormitory (started in 2010)

3. A Regional Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts and Mathematics (STEAM) project.

The visit was for Dr. Letsa to have a look at the state of the projects in order to make a strong case for their continuation and completion.

Dr. Letsa also used the visit to interact with some students of the school. He encouraged them to remain resolute and focused in their studies notwithstanding any challenges they faced.

He entreated them to take advantage of the opportunity presented them under the Free SHS, for H.E. the President was committed to addressing all the challenges they faced.
