Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA) sensitized on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV)
On 6th October, 2021, the Department of Gender facilitated a presentation on Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV), at a meeting held by the Ghana National Tailors and Dressmakers Association (GNTDA).
The presentation covered the following:
- What is Sexual and Gender-Based Violence (SGBV)?
- Examples of SGBV
- Who are the vulnerable ones.
- How to avoid SGBV
- How to help a victim if SGBV
- How to be an advocate against SGBV
There was an interactive session where participants asked questions and shared experiences as well.
The meeting was held at the Association’s office, Ho Bankoe with eighty-three (83) participant; eleven (11) males and seventy-two (72) females.
