The Hon. Minister for Road and Highways and his team joined the Volta Regional Minister Dr A.Y. Letsa, as promised, to see to the resumption of work on the Dualization of Ho Main Roads and Traffic Management Project.

The Hon. Minister for Roads and Highways indicated that the government would not entertain any shoddy work since the people of Ghana deserves better.

He also indicated that his Ministry was ready to punish any contractor or engineer working with the Ministry who would attempt to shortchanged the people of Ghana by not delivering quality work.

Furthermore, he said once work had resumed, there would not be any break until the project is completed.

He concluded that the President is committed to attending to roads in deplorable states since policies such as Planting for Food and Jobs, and One District One Factory are hinged on good roads which play pivotal role in the economy.
