Chief Director and Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Felix B. Chaahaah Bows out of the Local Government Service
The Volta Regional Coordinating Council has organised and held a send-off meeting in honour of the Immediate past Chief Director and Regional Coordinating Director, Mr. Felix B. Chaahaah at the Conference Hall of the Volta Regional Residency, Ho.
Mr. Chaahaah who served the Civil Service and the Local Government Service for over Thirty years, joined the Volta Regional Coordinating Council in 2017. He proceeded on compulsory retirement from the Public Service of Ghana with the Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council being his last posting.
At the meeting, Mr. Chaahaah received a lot of praises for his selfless service to the Co-ordinating Council. His Excellency the President’s Representative at Council, Dr. Archibald Yao Letsa noted that Mr. Chaahaah would be remembered for his sterling administrative and innovative skills. He stated that Mr. Chaahaah was a top-notch public servant and very knowledgeable in public administration, and had contributed immensely to the transformation of the Co-ordinating Council, as well as the successes the Region had chalked in many spheres.
Dr. Letsa therefore expressed the gratitude of the Council to Mr. Chaahaah as he commended Mr. Chaahaah for his contributions.
Finally, Dr. Letsa wished Mr. Chaahaah well he as enjoys his retirement.
The meeting was attended by Former Hon. Deputy Regional Minister for Oti, Mr. Maxwell Quophy Blagodzi, the Northern Regional Coordinating Director Alhaji Alhassan Issahaku, who took over from Mr. Chaahaah as the Dean of Regional Coordinating Directors.
Also in attendance were Hon. Municipal and District Chief Executives as well as Municipal and District Co-ordinating Directors from the Region, Regional Heads of Department, Members of the Regional Security Council and Members of the Media.
