VOLTA ENVIRONMENTAL HEALTH LADIES HOLDS SEMINAR
In the quest to enhance the performance of female officers of the various Municipal and District Environmental Health and Sanitation Units in the Volta Region, the Regional Environmental Health Office held a seminar for the female officers on 30th May, 2022 at the Residency Conference Hall, Ho. The seminar formed part of planned activities of the Regional Environmental Health Office.
Another motivation behind the organization of the seminar was the need to unite the womenfolk, and promote networking.
A lecture on ethics, which was presented by Ms. Patricia Letsa, focused on all areas of physical impression including dressing etiquette.
There also was a presentation on the Rights and Roles of the working lady made the by Regional Director of Gender, while an officer from the Human Resource Department of the Volta Regional Co-ordinating Council addressed some concerns over upgrading, and further studies amongst others in the Local Government Service to which the females belong.
A final presentation was made by Ms. Stella Kumedzro, the Regional Environmental Health Officer on teamwork, ethical and moral issues.
The seminar which was supported by Zoomlion Ghana Limited had about 186 female participants
